To change your PID password:

Log on to My VT (http://my.vt.edu/) using your PID and password.
Note: If you want to be warned when you are being logged on to another Virginia Tech service automatically, place a check in the "Warn Me Before Logging On to Other Virginia Tech Websites" check box. You must place a check in this check box each time you log on to My VT.
-
Select the Personal Info tab.
-
Under Contact Info, click the Manage your Profile link.
-
Under General Information, click the Change Password link.
-
Create a new password. Refer to Creating Strong Passwords (http://www.computing.vt.edu/accounts_and_access/pickinggoodpasswords.html) for information on creating a strong password.
-
In the Current Password text box, type the password you want to change.
-
In the New Password text box, type your new password.
-
In the New Password Again text box, retype your new password.
-
Click the Change Password button.
