How do I get personal space on the Virginia Tech Network-Attached Storage (NAS) in Windows 2000/XP, Mac OS X, or Linux?

Answer:

  1. Log on to Hokies Self-Service (http://selfservice.w2k.vt.edu/) with your Hokies ID and password.

    Notes:
    • You will experience a brief redirect when you click on the Hokies Self-Service link.
    • For more information about Hokies accounts, refer to the Hokies ID page (http://www.computing.vt.edu/accounts_and_access/hokies_id/index.html).

  2. Select the My Storage tab.

    Note: The following are options are extra features for Windows and are not essential to creating your space. You may select one of the following options if you want:
