When I try to access Virginia Tech Hokies Domain (Active Directory) resources in Windows 2000/XP, I receive errors. What should I do?Answer:
Your computer's IP address may be outside of the accepted range of addresses managed by CNS (Communications Network Services). For a list of accepted ranges, look for "CNS" under the "Managed By" section of the Addresses table on the Virginia Tech IP Addresses Web page (http://www.computing.vt.edu/internet_and_web/internet_access/ipaddresses.html).
To verify that your computer is using a Virginia Tech IP address, try one of the following methods:
