How do I display or conceal hidden files and folders in Microsoft Windows XP/Vista?
Answer:
From the
Start
menu, select
Settings
, and then select
Control Panel
.
Double-click the
Folder Options
icon.
Select the
View
tab.
Under Hidden Files and Folders, select the appropriate option.
If you want to display hidden files and folders, select the
Show Hidden Files and Folders
option.
If you want to conceal hidden files and folders, select the
Do Not Show Hidden Files and Folders
option.
Click
OK
