1. Start Outlook Express.
2. From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
3. Select the News tab.
4. Click the New button.
5. From the Mail Account drop-down list, select your mail account.
6. In the Organization text box, type: Virginia Tech
7. Click the Right Arrow button.
8. In the News (NNTP) Server text box, type: news.vt.edu
9. Click the Right Arrow button.
10. In the Account Name text box, type: news.vt.edu
11. Click Finish.
12. Select news.vt.edu.
13. Click the Make Default button.
14. Close the Accounts window.
15. In the list on the left, double-click news.vt.edu.
16. For each newgroup to which you want to subscribe:
    1. Select the newsgroup to which you want to subscribe.
