WebDrive is available as a download through Information Technology Acquisitions (ITA) for current Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and students.
Important: Note: If you live off campus and would like to download Webdrive, you must first register for a VPN account. Information about this can be found by reading the
Configuring a VPN Page article
(http://www.answers.vt.edu/ask4help/connection/vtkb2304.htm). However, instead of Webdrive, you can use Web folders that is included in Windows. For more information, please see the using
Web Folders article.
Go to the Network Software page (https://www.ita.vt.edu/Apps/WebObjects/NetSoftware).
Log on with your PID and password.
Click the WebDrive 7.22 for Windows link.
Place a check in the Yes, I Agree check box.
Click the Accept Agreement button.
Click the Download WebDrive 7.22 for Windows - webdrive722.exe link.
Save the download to your desktop.
On your desktop, double-click the webdrive722.exe icon.
Click Next.
After reading the license agreement, click Next.
Click Next.
Note: If you have Integrity Desktop installed, you will receive the message "The install program has detected that you have Zone Alarm installed." Click OK.
