Question:
How do I download and configure Goliath to connect to the Web Hosting Service?
Answer:

Go to WebDAV's Goliath Page (http://www.webdav.org/goliath).

Click the Downloads link.

Click the Here link for your operating system.

On your desktop, double-click the Goliath 1.0.1 icon.

Drag the Goliath 1.0.1 folder to your Applications folder.

Close the Goliath 1.0.1 window.

Double-click the Applications folder.

Double-click the Goliath 1.0.1 folder.

Double-click the Goliath 1.0.1 icon.

If the New WebDAV Connection window opens, click Cancel.

From the Goliath menu, select Preferences.

Select the Lock Information tab.

In the Please Enter in a URL text box, type: mailto:[Your PID]@vt.edu
Note: Replace [Your PID] with your PID.

Click OK.

From the File menu, select New Connection.

In the URL text box, type: https://webdav.hosting.vt.edu/[Your Site Name]
Note: Replace [Your Site Name] with your site name.

In the User Name text box, type your PID.

In the Password text box, type your PID password.

Click the Triangle to the left of Advanced Settings.

Place a check in the Disable Encoding of Macintosh Resources check box.

Click OK.
Files and folders function in the same manner in Goliath as they do on your hard drive. To upload or download files and folders to or from your site, drag them from one folder to another.
