  4. In the Username text box, type your PID.
  5. In the Password text box, type your PID password.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Start Dreamweaver.
  8. Add a new site.
  9. In the Site Name text box, type a descriptive name for your hosting site.
  10. In the Local Root Folder text box, type the path to the location on your hard drive that contains the files for your Web site.
Note: If you do not know the path, click the Browse (Folder) icon to browse to the location.
  11. Place a check in the Refresh Local File List Automatically check box.
  12. In the Default Images Folder text box, type the path to the folder on your hard drive that contains the images for your Web site.
Note: If you do not know the path, click the Browse (Folder) icon to browse to the folder.
  13. In the HTTP Address text box, type: http://www.[Your Site Name]
Note: Replace [Your Site Name] with your site's name.
    Example: abcd1234.org.vt.edu
  14. Place a check in the Enable Cache check box.
  15. From the Category list, select Remote Info.
  16. From the Access drop-down list, select Local/Network.

In the future, whenever you modify Web pages using Dreamweaver, the pages will be transferred automatically to your live Web site as soon as you save them.
