1. Start Entourage.
2. From the Tools menu, select Accounts.
3. From the New drop-down list, select Mail.
4. In the New Account window, select Pop from the drop-down menu.
5. Click OK.
6. In the Account Name text box, type: VT Mail
7. In the Name text box, type your name as you want it to appear in messages you send.
8. In the E-mail Address text box, type: [Your PID]@vt.edu
   Note: Replace [Your PID] with your PID.

9. In the Account ID text box, type your PID.
10. In the POP Server text box, type: pop.vt.edu
11. Click the Click here for advanced receiving options button.
12. Place a check in the This POP Server Requires a Secure Connection (SSL) check box.
13. Click outside the box to make it disappear.
14. Under the Sending mail section box, in the SMTP server field, type: auth.smtp.vt.edu.
15. Click the Click Here for Advanced Sending Options button.
16. Place a check in the SMTP Server Requires a Secure Connection (SSL) check box.
17. Place a check in the Override default SMTP port.
18. Change the port to: 465.
19. Place a check in the SMTP server requires authentication box.
20. Click the button next to Use same settings as receiving mail server.
21. Click outside the box to make it disappear.
22. Click OK.
