Question:
How can I configure Entourage 2004/2008 to search the VT online directory?
Answer:
From the
Tools
menu, select
Accounts
.
Select the
Directory Service
tab.
Click the
New
button.
Note:
The Account Setup Assistant may open. If so, click the
Configure account manually button
.
In the
Account Name
text box, type:
Virginia Tech LDAP
In the
LDAP Server
text box, type:
directory.vt.edu
Select the
Options
tab.
In the
Search Base
text box, type:
ou=people,dc=vt,dc=edu
Click
OK
.
Close the
Accounts
window.
