In order to run LiveUpdate, you must log on with an account with computer administrator privileges or power user privileges.
To run LiveUpdate, do the following:

From the Start menu, select All Programs.

Select the Symantec Endpoint Protection folder.

Select Symantec Endpoint Protection program.

Click the LiveUpdate button.

Complete the LiveUpdate.

If LiveUpdate finds updates:

LiveUpdate will automatically download the new files. When the download is complete, click the Close button.

Wait while LiveUpdate installs the new updates.

If LiveUpdate finds no updates are needed, click the Close button.

Click the Exit button.
