In order to run LiveUpdate, you must log on with an account with computer administrator privileges or power user privileges.

To schedule LiveUpdate to run automatically:

Start Symantec Endpoint Protection.
From the menu on the left, select the Change settings button.
Beside Client Management, click the Configure Settings button.
Click the Scheduled Updates tab.
Place a check in the Enable Automatic Updates check box.
Under Frequency, select the Continuously, Every, Daily, or Weekly radio button.
Under When, you will be given specific options for the Frequency you select. Use the arrows to navigate through those options.
Click OK.
To enable the missed events options. place a check in the Keep trying for (in hours) check box.
If you want to randomize your options, place a check in the Randomize the start time to be + or - (in hours): check box.
Set the hours using the up and down arrows from the menu.
Click OK.
Close the Symantec Endpoint Protection window.
