How do I schedule Norton AntiVirus 10 for Mac OS X to automatically run LiveUpdate to download new virus definitions?

Answer:

  1. Start Norton AntiVirus.
  2. Click the LiveUpdate button.
  3. Click the Symantec Scheduler icon.
  4. Click the New button.
  5. Click the Product Update icon.
  6. In the Enter a Name for the Task text box, type a name for the task.
  7. From the Choose a Product to Update drop-down list, select All Products.
  8. From the Set a Frequency drop-down list, select Daily.
  9. Beside the Set the Time text box, click the Up Arrow or Down Arrow button to set the time of day at which you want LiveUpdate to run.
  10. Click the Save button.
  11. From the Symantec Scheduler drop-down list, select Quit Symantec Scheduler.
  12. From the LiveUpdate menu, select Quit LiveUpdate.
  13. From the Norton AntiVirus menu, select Quit Norton AntiVirus.
